Valentine Cookies with Emma and Braydon

Emma wanted to make cookies for her friends for Valentines so I went out and showed her how to decorate the "fun" way!!Braydon even joined in on the action!!! He thought it was fun to color the cookies!!! Emma is an awesome kid!! Even with a mouth full of metal she is stil beautiful!!! Love you Emma Louise!!!!!

Baby Shower Cake For Theresa

One of the girls I work with is having her baby shower tomorrow and asked me to make her cake. I had been looking for something with ladybugs on it and I came across one that sort of looked like this but the one online was made with fondant...not my thing!!! This was my finished product!!! Let me know what you guys think!!!

Out of the Mouth of a 3 Year Old

Lately we have been encouraging Braydon to say his own prayers. Tonight was cute!

It started off with the usual Thank you for Mommy and Daddy. Then followed Santa Claus! Next we started with the Please!

This is what he said

PLEASE HELP ME FORGIVE OUR SINS.....

HUH? Where did that come from? It is amazing what they hear from others prayers and what they will repeat.

I Love my Braydon. He is such a sweetie. He is always willing to give you a hug when you need and man did I need like 20 today!!! :-) He is such a joy to be around! I love him and thank Heavenly Father for him everyday!

Maren's TEN

Yesterday was my neices 10th birthday so I decided I would post 10 things that I love about Maren!!! Sorry its late but I worked from 3-10 yesterday and had Gabi from 12-3 so I had a busy day!!!

1. You are an awesome helper! When you were here to visit, you jumped to any chance to help serve!

2. You are awesome at sports! You can dance like nobody else and you can play soccer like nobody else!!!

3. You love your family

4. You pretty much always have a smile on your face

5. You love to play with your little brother and sister!

6. You are a great example to those around you.

7. Can always count on you to feel the spirit!

8. You ride a motor scooter like its nobodies bussiness!!!!

9. you rock at Mario Cart and can beat anyone at it...im jealous..its make me sick to play it!!!

Life in the Fast Lane

I feel like my life has been going at 100 mph these days. I work, come home, hang out with Braydon and then go to sleep. I don't feel like I have time to just sit and enjoy life. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my job but I would love to just sit and watch Braydon.

I am about to be on my way to Katy with my mom and I am very excited! We are making cookies and going to watch InkHeart (sorry Emma if I spelled that wrong). Braydon doesn't even know where we are going. I am excited to hear him when he figures out. He LOVES ALL of his cousins and get excited when he gets to see any of them. When Maren came to visit he couldn't get enough play time with her and now with Kay coming soon he is stoked to see her. He just wished Jocie and Blake would come too!!! :-) *hint hint KIM!!!*

So I am going to sit back and relex at Chad and Lela's house for the next day or so and LOVE IT!!!

The Ninja Turtles Say a Bad Word...and Braydon Copies

Today Ryan and I were watching the old school ninja turtles with Braydon. I personally am a big fan of this show! I think it is great! It makes me laugh everytime! Don't know why but it just does!

We have passed on the love of the Ninja Turtles to Braydon. He wants to watch any form of them at least once a day. He thinks they are so cool.

Well today while we were watching Raphel says the "D" word. Next thing we know Braydon says it. WOW...Kids really do hear everything and repeat them. We had to tell him that it wasn't a nice word. How do you explain that to a three year old who thinks that the Ninja Turtles are perfect and can do no wrong. It was hard to hear him cry about how the Ninja Tutles were being naughty.

Toilets are GROSS

Our toilet is OLD! We realized this about 3 months after moving into our house! Ever since then we have had problem after problem with the darn thing! The other day Ryan had to snake it out again and so I took a picture to remember our soon to be old toilet!!!!! Poor Ryan

Bubble Santa

The other day I gave Braydon a bubble bath and this is what he came up with! Remeber when you were a kid and you also pretended to be a bubble santa!!!!!!

Wilton Cake Classes

I started taking the Wilton Cake Decorating Classes tonight! I am really excited. I am taking them with one of the girls that I work with and we are going to have probably more fun then we should!! :-)

Tonight was just what to expect from the class and what we would need. I am looking forward to actually knowing the right way to do things as opposed to the Maren way to do things!

I am starting to help full time with the cakes at Baskin Robbins so this will be a good thing for me and also for Theresa! Kyle is going to get the coolest birthday cake! He is going to be rockin' with this cake!!! :-)

I know a couple of you have taken the classes so wish me luck!!!! And I will post pictures of the scrumptious cakes I make!!!

clean house..what?

Those that know me,you know I hardly let anyone in my house b/c it is always a wreck!! I am completely embarrassed of it! Due to some new goals in my life, I can finally have people over when I want and not have to worry about my house. It makes me feel so much better about myself and my house! I love having people over but rarely due do to the mess! :-) So next week feel free to just start stopping by!!!! I will open my door to you!
