School's Out For Summer

I am so late at blogging. Braydon has been out of school now for a week!!!! :-) He had a great year and learned so much this year from two wonderful teachers. We are going to miss them greatly but they will be there next year so we will have to visit them!

We are ready for next year. We signed up with a great teacher and are excited to see what a new year brings us!!!!!! We will miss the kids from his class this year but we will have some in our class next year!!

Braydon has a Superhero

On the way into church I was walking behind Ryan and Braydon and noticed how dang cute they looked and just had to take a picture!!!!

As Ryan and Braydon were reading scriptures last night they read the story about Jesus calming the seas and stopping the wind of the seas, afterwards Braydon told Ryan that Jesus was his NEW superhero because he has super powers to calm the sea!!! Thought it was cute and had to share.

Trike-a-Thon to support St. Jude's Hospital

Today at school Braydon (and Gabi) had a Trike-a-Thon that supported St. Jude's Hospital! They talked to the about it at the beginning and when Braydon was done he said " do you think I raised the kids a lot of money?" He is so cute!!! He did stop 2 times in the middle and said "I can't go anymore, my legs hurt" I then had to reply with "well I will give you a Pokemon movie when we get home" ( he has taken up Pokemon thanks to cousins!! I don't understand anything about them but thats ok...Aunt Meigan does!!!!) On his second trip of " I can't do this anymore" I told him that we would set up his room in his new gear but its kindof in Houston with mom!!! ooppss! Guess a substitute will have to work for right now!!!! Anyways enjoy the pictures of Braydon and then Gabi...the videos at the end have one of Gabi and one of Braydon, due to the age difference between them they had to ride in different groups!
They did GREAT and I am so proud of Braydon and also so proud of Gabi!!!! You guys ROCK!!

All geared up and ready to go....just had to get out of that grass first!!!! Braydon kept telling me..."I can't ride in the grass, thats too hard!!!"

We are still working on looking forward when you ride but I think at this point they may have stopped the kids b/c one of the kids fell off. He is so stinkin' cute though!!!

I actually took this shot b/c I didn't see Holli at first and its a good thing I did, Holli's camera wasn't charged right so she wasn't able to get any pictures!!!! Gabi was so excited. I love how you can tell Gabi's emotions just by looking at her cute little face!!!!!

Easter 2010

We had 2 Easter Celebrations this year...One at Grandma and PaPa Petersen's and then another one at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. At mom and dads we had a traditional meal of ham and potatoes and all the fixins. At Ryan's parents we had a not so traditional meal but MAN WAS IT YUMMY!!! Crawfish!! I didn't get any pictures but my brother in law, Corey, makes the BEST crawfish ever!!! not spicy...just right!!! :-) Enjoy the pictures!!!!

The Easter Bunny came to school!! Addison (Braydon's girlfriend who we were informed he would be marrying when he is 23) is behind the bunny....

All the kids listening to Grandma read the poem that she has written for the past 30 years! She has done this since Jenna was little!!! She writes a poem every Easter that leads to the first clue of the kids Easter present! I Love this tradition and am thinking of starting it this next year with Braydon and Isabella for their Easter Baskets!

He was helping Grandma in the garden and decided to put his photography skills to the test...I guess I know what he will be getting for his birthday. I can see it now....there are going to be lots of close ups of Bella when she comes around thanks to Braydon!!!!!

Chocolately Goodness

Emma and Syd were born in the same month so since Emma won't be here on her real birthday we did a joint birthday party for her a Syd. Meigan and I crunched our heads together and came up with a spa theme (what 12 and 14 yr old don't like going to a spa) but Meigan researched and took it one step further for a Chocolate Spa party!!!!! It was just a small party but you still would have thought that there were about 12 girls in the room next to us. Here is some of the fun they had!!!

Emma loves the folowing....Batman....peace signs...zebra!!! we have an airbrush store in our mall and since I couldn't find any "girly" batman things I had something made for her. I told the guy at the store that I wanted peace signs, batman symbol and a purple zebra print in the batman symbol...this is what he came up with and WOW I have to say I was impressed with the guys work!!!!! He did amazing!!!!! I hope all Emma's friends were jealous of her awesome shirt!!!
